NEW DIGITAL X-RAY:
We have upgraded our x-ray facilities AT BOTH SITES to include digital x-ray processors and special floating top table.
One of the main advantages is that it allows us to take better quality radiographs at a fraction of the time tkane with manual processing, which in turn helps us to provide a more rapid diagnosis, and to decrease the amoungt of time your pet has to be under general anaesthetic.
The moving top table is a valuable addition making it possible to position large animals for radiography much more easily.
The digital processor allows us to develop detailed x-rays quickly and safely, without chemical waste. These images can then be viewed on a computer screen and from wherte we can zoom-in and further manipulate them to get the very best image.
If necessary images can be sent, via email or cd, to a referral vet for specialist assessment. Results are reported the same day ensuring a fast and accurate diagnosis of your pets condition.
Xray images can be viewed in the consulting room, so that we can discuss the images with the owner.
